About Me
Howdy!! Welcome to 4th Grade. My name is Mollie Karsteter. I am so excited to be a Tiger at Grand Oaks Elementary. This is my 2nd year teaching in Tomball and I am thrilled to be teaching your child this year.
I graduated from Texas A&M (Whoop!) with my degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach EC-4 (All subjects), 4th-8th Reading/ Writing/Social Studies, ESL, GT, and Special Education. I started my teaching career in CFISD. I spent 8 years in the district and taught 3rd, 4th and 5th Grades . I then spent 4 years teaching part time at a private preschool, while I enjoyed staying home with my children. Before teaching in Tomball, I went back to CFISD as a Reading Small Group Teacher.
I grew up in Cypress and have been married to my husband, Kris for 11 years. We have 3 beautiful children together. Kassadie is in 4th grade . We have twins, Kolton and Sadie, who are in 1st grade. We have a chocolate lab, 3 goats, and 1 gecko and 9 chickens. If we are not spending time outside with our goats, watching our children play sports, or spending time with our family, then we are watching our Aggies WIN!
I am so excited to partner with you this year as we prepare your children for the future!! If you have an questions, please email me at molliekarsteter@tomballisd.net. Please follow me on twitter @mkarsteter
