ALL ABOUT MRS. ABBOTT!

I am VERY excited to be your child’s teacher! First grade is an amazing year of academic growth for students.  I look forward to getting to know you and your child as we become partners in their education.

I graduated from the University of Houston - Downtown. I am certified to teach EC-6 and I am ESL and GT certified.  This will be my 6th year of teaching! I grew up "next door" in Cypress, TX and spent my first two years teaching in CFISD. This is my fourth year in Tomball ISD and I am blessed to not only live in, but serve the #TeamTomball community! GO TIGERS!

I have been married to my husband, Chris, for 7 wonderful years and we have 3 kiddos: Austin, Brody, and baby girl Camdyn (Cami)! We have two dogs, Molly and Ruger. We also have two rabbits, Judy and Bugs (short for Bugs Bunny). In our spare time we love going to the beach, taking walks around our neighborhood and going to the park, spending time with extended family, having game nights with friends and lots of movie nights.

Thanks for taking the time to read a little bit about me! Feel free to browse the other links and be sure to click the "subscribe" button to get updates on different things that I will post here on our classroom website throughout the year. I am looking forward to working with you to ensure that your child has a successful year in first grade! :)
